Can you answer the following questions and explain how you did them?

62. What is the meaning of each of the following features of a velocity-time graph?
a) A horizontal line
b) An inclined (slanted) line
c) A straight line above the horizontal axis
d) a line below the horizontal axis
e) a point where the line crosses he horizontal axis

64. A baseball player running at 8.0 m/s (W) slides into third base, coming to rest in 1.6 s. What is the average acceleration?

Your first answer has an error on the first line of the answer for #64. Maybe you figured it out from looking at the 2nd line.
It should have been:
64) acceleration = (final velocity - initial velocity) ÷ time
minus, not divided by.

The rest looks good.

a) constant velocity
b) acceleration/deceleration (positive/negative gradient)
c) positive velocity
d) negative velocity
e) zero velocity

64) acceleration = (final velocity ÷ initial velocity) ÷ time
acceleration=(0-8.0)÷1.6
acceleration=(-8)÷1.6
acceleration=-5m/s^2
