Where do I find legitimate Editor Jobs?
I am starting the process of going to college for an English degree and I am hoping to get a job as an Editor. My Question is Is it hard to find editing jobs specifically work at home ones? Also where are legitimate places to find Work at home editing jobs? And lastly does this kind of work pay well?

Legitimate online jobs are available for people with the right experience, skills and access to a computer. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, "Online publications and services are growing in number and sophistication, spurring the demand for writers and editors, especially those with Web experience." In this growing market, knowledgable editors and proofreaders have a great opportunity to find work in a fast-paced sector. Although many jobs are low-paying, there are others that offer a comparable rate to print-based work.

Publishing and advertising businesses are big users of editors, it is a fairly specific niche skill I suspect you will have to also do some writing in your career.
Some short term projects cam be found on the freelance marketplaces including Elance.com, Odesk.com, vworker.com and the less well policed freelancer.com
Elance alone reports their (mostly skilled) workers earned $285 Million in 2013
