Computer wont start...?

Hey guys, i have a problem with my pc and i think that it is the PSU going bad. When i press the power button the computer does nothing. But when i remove the plug from psu to clear the capacitors and then plug it back in, it works but randomly shuts down every 30 minutes or so. I installed cpuid hardware monitor and all voltages are ok. Any thoughts on that?

Thanks

You should refrain from using software to monitor power outputs as a general rule. Use a good digital meter and test each output voltage after it begins to heat up. Your best bet is to follow, "I love pigeons" advice and buy a new power supply. When they start to show signs of issues get rid of it. The cost is low when you consider if there is a leaky capacitor or other issues you could also be exposing all your hardware to surge and drops that will damage your other...much more valuable components.

I think your right about the PSU, it might be a build up of power it the capacitors as you said tripping a switch fuse, cutting the power until it's discharged
