I am trying to install Quicken 2010 onto a new computer, but it won't accept the unlock code I got when I purchased it. Quicken support for 2010 ended April 2013 and there is no way I can talk to a live person at Quicken - calling the number re-routes you to the website which only answers questions for Quicken products 2011 and later. Am I screwed?

They do this to prevent people from using "old unused copies" instead of buying new versions.
You could install Quicken if you could successfully change the date on the computer to a time before April 2013.
But when you connect to the Internet the Quicken program will "call home" to register itself and might disable itself, even preventing you from using it as a simple check register. They do this because the databases at the Quicken servers has changed and the advanced functions in the Quicken program can no longer work.
You just answered your own question. Quicken 2010 support ended April 2013. That means that all pending codes on the database have been deleted in order to save space. Sorry, but you are screwed, especially since you cannot talk to a representative about this problem.
