Let's say you've got a friend who's heard of "Doctor Who", but has yet to see a single episode.
Which story ("Classic" or "New") would you show them to let them see how wonderful the series is? And why that particular one?

My favorite episode to date is still "Blink" because of the way it twists ones mind around the "wibbley wobbley, timey wimey... stuff."
"The Eleventh Hour" is, of course, perfect for introducing your friend to the current incarnation of the Doctor, Matt Smith.

Most people see "Blink" first. I dont know that might scare people from the show though. Maybe "Dalek" because that would introduce them to the Daleks.
My favorite episode is "The Empty Child" and the sequel episode "The Doctor Dances" but a lot of people are scared of that so yeah.
