Depends what you want from a console and what games you'd like to play.
The PS4 is apparently the powerfulist console for gaming but people don't realise that its not all about the graphics. Mentioning the graphics - The Xbox One and PS4 are very similar and not really noticeable.

What do you want in a console? Look it both consoles and decide which one works best for you.
(I personally bought a PS4 because it was cheaper but that shouldn't be your only reason. You don't wan to shell out money and then hate it.)
EDIT: Like Bob, I would just go to PC but that's not always the cheapest option. IF you can, go for that (a huge plus for PC is that you can mod).
