To all my Christ believers...... I have one question for you.?

Before I get to the question, I have to tell you, I was born a Christian, have many ministers in my family, at least 6. I was into the church when I was young and still am today. I realized something though. Since my adulthood I figured out I better not cast down any other religion until I look into it and find the real problem with them, that way I could show them the difference and maybe help them change. But to my surprise, I saw why they were so into their beliefs, the words may have been different, but their deepest meanings were parallel to the Bible and all that it teaches. I did this with Buddha teachings, The Bhagavad Gitas, The Upanishads, The Way Power Book (Dao De Jing), and the Egyptian Book of the Dead and the Tibetan Book of Living and Dying. Once I saw all the similarities, I couldn't dare try to change them, it would be like reading the same thing just interpreted differently. Have any of you dared to read any other religions besides your own and found the same thing? What is really funny is, when I went to speak to some of the other teachers of those religions and mentioned Christ, they were open about it and spoke highly of the Bible and some of them even taught from it. That was the real shocker to me. Have any of you did this before? I am just curious to see who would dare do something such as this?

They all speak on immortality, they all speak on conquering death, they all speak on heaven, they all speak on being the only way. They all speak on meditation. They all speak of one God and many attributes of the one God and they all speak on some form of heaven. Could that be the One God in all? They all say God is all. I am just asking. Plus, I am not so ignorant either, I do have an IQ of 148. I just learned to Love all. All is created and nothing is created that is not created by God. It is in all the teachings. No matter the name. One God with many names, can it be? I love this and I love you too. Just as my father in heaven loves you all. I accept you as you are cutting me or loving me, just as my father in heaven does. I am with you in this earth. We all search and we all find. How is the answer.

Oh, and to star, the power of the tongue can kill or uplift, and I think you

Okay Mister Christian, so it is obvious that you can pick out all the killings of the others, did you forget all the Native Americans the Christians killed, (millions), Did you forget all the land the Christians took from the Druids, Think about the Pagans and so called "Evil Witches" they burned at the stake. What about all the South Africans they killed to take over that land. Come on now, I am not talking about those who are lost and deceived by government which is the real Pagan, look at the Holidays all Pagan, Merry Christmas, Actually, in Hindu, the mystery to the battle is the battle of the mind and all your teams of rivals you have within you. You only need God. They must die, you must die to know God so that you may have everlasting life Like Paul says, I die daily. So do I. Although, I do like your attempt. You are a good scholar. It is a mystery my friend. A real mystery. I will give you a green thumb for the attempt.

Respect other people's beliefs, and embrace your own.

Be honest to yourself. If you say you're Christian, be a Christian.

That's good that some teach from the Bible but it is still in vain if their theology about God/Jesus is incorrect. You can't pick and choose parts from the Bible, you have to accept all of it. Otherwise you make God out to be a liar. A lot of people say Jesus was a good man, even a prophet, but they stop there. That is where the problem is.

If you really were born again, your life would show it.

John 14:6 Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life, know once comes to the father but by me.

Mark 1:15 The kingdom of heaven is at hand, repent and believe in the gospel.

Repent of your sins by turning toward Jesus, believing only he can save you from hell. Start reading the Bible and do what it says. Let it change you.

I spent years wandering about in reading some other religions, but none came
close to the bible, to Jesus Christ, to Who and what He is.

Many religions acknowledge a lot from the bible, except for accepting
the divinity of Jesus Christ as the 'only way to the Father'...this they
do not do, and if you talk about that, it won't go the same way.

They can be most pleasant as long as you don't get into salvation,
that there is 'no other name under heaven by which you must be saved'.

Even talking about salvation, the need for this will get a condescending smile,
most often.

They are wooing you, they see how to do this...very wise, but do
ask these more important questions.

The important thing is your own born again experience, being
baptized into Christ...and subsequent leading by the Holy Spirit.

Otherwise, it really is...just words, too many words.

<No one is BORN a Christian. And, going to a church does not make you one. If you had read and understood the Bible (which I recommend for every Christian), you would know that God reveals Himself to all of His creatures.

It should not be surprising that the are similarities. The problem is that it is what makes Christianity different that is important. Only through Jesus can anyone come to God. No other religion teaches that. Thus, all other religions are leading people away from God. Don't believe me? Do the research on the other religions. I have. And, I have also seen the difference between philosophy and religion (which you seem to have missed).

Faith is based on evidence, not ignorance (as you suggest - however subtly).>

Yes I have looked into other religions and to be honest all the ones I read up on were very good. I always believe anyone you can find God is good. I too would never tell anyone to change their beliefs. I do not even try to get non believers to believe, if they don't want to, I really don't care, but when they are rude ( on here) I feel the need to out them as the bullies they are. But I only meet rude bullies online anyhow ( not just atheists on here, but the numerous oafs ands oafettes on all the message boards), in the offline world people are just really nice, cool, caring and funny.. But as far as God and religion I get why there are so many religions and belief systems, you figure people are different and have different likes, dislikes, philosophies of life and no two people treat any one person in the exact same way.
