Why do men believe they have the right?

To space in womens' shelters?

Women built them, slowly gathering individual, then local, then privatized funds support. Contrary to belief, few receive tax dollars.

They receive donations and grants. They pushed for local support, proving that each shelter would not be a community or neighborhood problem.

They are private, guarded and create no trouble because of the secrecy of their locations.

One could be on your block and you'd not know.

After all this work for 50 years, why should men have free access?

Why can't they do the work to understand battered mens' needs and build what's needed?

@Jesse-no one is arguing about equal rights. This is encroachment.

Why do women believe they have the right to come into men's clubs and establishments? "Equal" works both ways.

And women haven't "encroached" on the Elks Club, Moose Club, Mason's, YMCA, men's gyms and I'm sur a bunch of other places I can't think of?
The joke used to be that we had to let women in but don't have to behave in such a way that they wnt to stay. Now, anything can be considered sexual herassment, discrimination or insensetivity.

Your scream for equal rights you're getting it, just wait till they lift the laws that say men cannot hit women.

Probably because men pay 70% of all tax and our taxes get used to make shelters.

Because what goes around comes around. You want equal rights you got it.
