Would language learning help an international law lawyer?

Do lawyers who specialize in international law have to learn learn languages for their job? It seems like it could be helpful. Any input?

An international lawyers requires to talk to others in other countries, so knowing another language is helpful. If you talk to a Vietnamese person and dont know vietnamese you have to hire a translator but if you know vietnamese you can just talk with the person
