Relocating for Work, what about these things?

Here's the scenario: a company pays to relocate a new hire from one coast to the other. They specifically hire movers to pack their stuff up and move it. The co flies the new hire out to the area they're moving to and help them find a new apartment in their price range.

How does that persons pets and car get moved?

If your employer has given you a move package then you are indeed fortunate. There is less and less of that going on these days. If you have been given a package you will likely need to work out your own situation on car and pets and other loose ends at your old home location. Many people find it easier to sell their car and buy another on the other end of things. Pets can be shipped or family members can sometimes be enlisted to help in these areas.

Best wishes!

It will depend on the relocating service that they have taken. At globalrelocations.com, pets can be moved because they have such service in their packages. Also, this moving company already provides the accommodation or which apartment the person in concern will be staying. Indeed, it will depend on the company that provides the relocation service. The employer must know first what are the features of every package they could offer to the new hire that will relocate.

It depends on the package negotiated by the person being moved. Sometimes the car can be transported either in the moving van or on a car carrier, sometimes you have to drive it yourself. As for pets, you transport them yourself due to liability issues.
