You may have to drive the vehicle for a few driving cycles to have the codes reset. It could be 25 miles to maybe 100 miles or more. There is no specific mileage or driving time. It will simply reset when the computer determines it has.
The other possibility is it may not have been your MAP sensor. Maybe it is your wiring harness going to the sensor.

Other than waiting 15 minutes for the code to reset with the battery unhooked you can run the KOEO (Key On Engine Off) Test and when its done flashing codes pull the wires out of the STI connector or if you have a checker turn it to Hold or Off. This is Fords way to reset the codes in an instant.

Unhook the Battery and leave it sit for a One or more. Then reconnect it. It should have got rid of the Light!
