Just how effective is "the pill"?

I am really worried.  Last night me and my girlfriend had sex.  I ejaculated and she took a couple of more thrusts (2-3).  When I pulled out the condom stayed inside of her.  It did not go all the way in about an inch of it was hanging out of her.

Anyways, I am really worried that maybe during one of those thrusts some sperm could have been forced out of the condom and gotten even remotely close to her vagina, I think thats why it slipped off is the sperm made my peni5 slick enough that the condom didnt stay on.  She takes Birth Control pills, and last time I checked Trojan condoms did have a small bit of spermacide.

But we are both really worried about it still.  Being both in college neither of us are ready for a child.

Thoughts?  We both seem to over worry about everything but its always nice to ahve second oppinions

The pill, when taken properly, is up to 99.9% effective. The entire reason it was invented, and the single thing it's meant to do, is allow you to have unprotected sex. That's no condoms at ALL.
That's why people take the pill in the first place.

If you wanted to stop using condoms with the pill it would still be almost impossible to get pregnant. Using the pill with condoms is so effective it's completely useless to even worry about.

The combination pill is 92% effective with typical use, 99.7% effective with perfect use.

If sexually active it's important that you know the effectiveness of the birth control that you BOTH use - she may be the one who takes the pill, but your future depends on this birth control method too! - also condoms don't just slip off, you're supposed to hold the condom on and withdraw as soon as you ejaculate.

The after pill is 89% effective if she takes it within three days of having sex. Since she takes birth control and you had a condom on (even though it fell off) everything should be fine.

Start praying and be more careful in future.  I would tell her to see a Dr and have a test in a week or so just to make sure.   If her next monthly period does not come at the due date you might need to start being prepared for a pregnancy.  Good luck :)

Penis + vagina = possibility of pregnancy.  If all of the other information you've given is factual, then - at least on this occasion - pregnancy is highly unlikely.
