What ever happened to MONEY TALKS?

The reason I ask is I know a person that took a down payment for a home in cash. But not acceptable. Proof is needed as to where the money came from. It seems the government want some kind of proof that it wasn't forged or made from drug sales. Proof such as bank accounts, employer statements, etc...

Another case: Go to a BJ's and find your not allowed to buy gas with out a card.

Once again: You can only buy a home with good credit. Unless you buy it from the owner or tax auction. REALITY CHECK! When the home is hundreds less pr month to buy than it is to rent. The bank tells you YOU CAN'T AFFORD THAT LOAN, OR YOU CANT GET THE MONEY BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE CREDIT. People could build credit if the world was not so backwards!

Have you ever went to a place where people say your money is no good here? You have to be a member, or have a card to buy! Or prove where your money came from!

It used to be posted in some places of businesses "IN GOD WE TRUST, ALL OTHERS PAY WITH CASH!"

it is called drug sales and money laundering. i just got notice from the Bank of America that they won't accept cash deposits on commercial bank accounts anymore without personal identification verifying the ID of the depositor as the owner of the account. it is a shame that the largest cash business in America is Mafia, but that is the modern world. it is also the reason you are not allowed to have currency larger in denomination than the $100 bill. that makes it deliberately awkward to haul away a few million unnoticed.
