Have you seen real estate ad's like this?

I saw one in the news paper last night. It was for a mobile home for sale in Florida. One Dollar! For a person 55 or over. This is the first time I saw one.

I am thinking it is in a trailer park. An older home that needs work. The trailer park probably wanted to offer the home to make the money on the lot rent. Lot rent usually includes, garbage pick up, water sewer, and land tax for the trailer park. And the trailer park makes a boat load on renting out the lot's.

Or it could be the old bait and switch. Sorry that one is not available but I do have other ones. Then they want to put you on there mailing list.

Realtors, what is your opinion?

Lot rent usually includes home owners insurance as well. I forgot to mention that.

Possibly each trailer park is different. The one a couple towns over from me include the home owners insurance, and will not let you move in until it is paid through the lot rent. Thanks.

I have seen retirement communities where they can't give houses away. The reason is because they built the place and had a Home Owners Association fee of about $250 per month. The fee is now $900 per month, for maintenance of a golf course, so no one wants to buy the existing houses.

Lot rent does not include homeowners insurance. Remember, you get what you pay for. It's probably a come of of some sort.

It could be a low-value home that is abandoned and must be moved. You need to get more information.
