I had not watched it for a long time and now I am watching again and there is a different DJ. What happened to Tony Okungbowa? I know he left once to pursue an acting career but then he came back.

Tony left the show to pursue other projects such as acting etc.
He was not fired or let go. Ellen did mention on her first episode of this season that he would pop in once in awhile but I have not seen him yet.
This is why she is testing,interviewing different DJ's on her show
She hasn't picked out one yet..maybe she is waiting for Tony to come back?
