Do You Like NASCAR's New Chase Rules?
Do you think the playoff type racing during the last 10 races will hurt or help make NASCAR more exciting?

I don't think there is any doubt that it will make it more exciting, but whether or not it is more exciting for the right reasons is negotiable. The potential for new faces in the championship picture is quite high, but the potential for more watered down champions is also there. I'll never personally be a fan of any kind of playoff format in racing; although, this format probably puts just as much emphasis on winning as anything else that could be implemented, which is a good thing.
Anyhow, no, I can't say that I like it, but if there has to be a playoff in NASCAR, this is (in my opinion) about as good as it can get.

It will make it more exciting for sure. More people now have a chance of winning the championship. The main problem is that in the chase if you have a mechanical issue then you are out through no fault of your own. Also drivers may intentionally wreck someone so they aren't eliminated.
Otherwize its a good idea

I think it could make it more exciting
at least 4 drivers will have a shot at it
instead of a driver finishing something like mid pack to win they will have to be the first of the final four to finish to win it

Now, a driver can kick back after winning one race.

I didn't like the Chase, and this new thing seems more oriented to attract new viewers than fans. And I don't know of any long term fans that like it.
So to me it's awful.
