would the smell of cooked fish be on my clothes after cooking it in culinary arts class?

We cooked and served our fish meals today (fish tacos, fish and chips, shrimp scampi, and crab cakes) and we were cooking some fresh fish too but its a small room and I tried all the meals we have prepared and it was fantastic but the whole room smelled of slight garlic and and fried fish and other ingredients, like potatoes, tortillas, pasta, and breading for the fish and chips and I smelled all my clothes after being out of the kitchen to take all my other classes for an hour and they smelled pretty clean, do my clothes have no fish scent at all or is this me?

Most likely. You can't smell it on your clothes because your nose is acclimated to the smell.

If the clothes have not been washed the smell will still be there the smell of fish gets into the fibers of your clothes .

Perhaps your clothes are synthetic are don't absorb as much smell as natural fibres. Really this is the pet keeping section, and you might getter better answers in the laundry or cooking sections or even the biology section.

This is going to sound egotistical & I don't mean it to be but I'm probably the best cook in my circle of family & friends. They always want me to do the cooking because I make most everything from scratch & they especially love my scalloped potatoes, roast, chicken, turkey, lasagna, & even chili...to name a few of the most requested.
