Matte vs Shiny Plastic sunglasses?

There is definitely a difference but people have their own opinions, of course.

Matte sunglasses apparently leave less of an oily fingerprint on them
Shiny plastic sunglasses apparently tend to look cheap and doesn't respond well to camera flashes.

I have also seen some people write that Matte sunglasses aren't that good to wear in sunlight, and over time tend to snap/break quicker than the shiny plastic sunglasses.

Now of course, a lot may matter on the brand, but just want to get your opinion on which one is more preferable.

Thanks

I think matte sunglasses have a much classier look. In my experience, the shiny plastic ones look cheaper and break easier. If you're spending a lot of money on some ray bans or something of the sort, then shiny plastic usually looks pretty good. If you're getting cheaper sunglasses, I would go for matte.
