Band of Brothers. Easy company 506th PIR. He got the name in Normandy. After he found out that his brother was killed at Monte Cassino he hated Germans and displayed a reckless courage when fighting them at all times.

When I hear Guarnere or 'Wild Bill' , I always think of the HBO TV series Band Of Brothers especially the scene in The Battle of the Bulge when he got he was trying to save his friend Joe. The guy is a hero. The Eagles will always scream for him.
