I've changed some titles, series names and authors, but when I connect my kindle, the metadata doesn't sync. Can anyone help me out?
The Calibre site only tells me how to put books on my kindle through Calibre, which I had figured out already, obviously :-)

I had trouble getting the author to show up when I used Calibre metadata...
Did you try first deleting the any copy from the Kindle? Maybe Calibre thinks it is already on the Kindle and doesn't copy it?
You might try the #9 suggestion here - make sure PDOC is not int hat box
