If the entirety of Sunlight to the Earth were completely blocked for 24 hours, by how much would Earth cool?

I am amazed at how only DJ HOUSTON was able to actually ANSWER what I ASKED. (Never mind that it is obviously a wrong answer.)

It has been said that the Earth's temperature has risen by some miniscule number of degrees in the last hundred years, causing catastrophic climate change.

In twenty four hours the sunlight is already missing for half that time, the night temperatures are lower then daylight temperatures.
If the sun is blocked for 12 hours, say by clouds, the Earth will still receive filtered heat from sunrays. So there will be minimal cooling of Earth.
