Also, I haven't been all that up to date with new music. I don't know what's been released within the last month and a half, but I got Oxymoron and Pinata. Was Rick Ross' album worth a spin? What else should I check out?

Pinata is very good, it's a sick album. Oxymoron is good, I wouldn't say it's great or anything, but it is worth checking. I haven't heard the Rick Ross album, so can't comment on that one.
