Did you know, that the quicker you type on the phone 8 virtual keyboard the better it is?
When you type slowly, you have to touch the key that is shown on the screen. The software assumes you want a particular letter, so it doesn't try to help.
When you type quickly, the software increases (invisibly) the size of the key so it is much easier to get the right key. For example, after typing th the size of the e and r keys increase, so if you touch thw on the keyboard quickly, you are actually hitting the "the" keys. The quicker you type, the more the software tries to help by varying the size of the hit area around the likely next keys.
