Can someone get a job at FedEx Freight if they have failed a pre employment UA?
One of my former Co workers failed a pre employment UA in November when trying to get driving job. He only has tried pot 2 times in his life when he was younger plus a few months ago. He has completed the return to duty process as required by the US DOT to legally be able to drive again so he's good in that sense. However, I know that companies have their own policies on whether to hire the person or not. I'm not sure as to what company he failed the UA. He's trying to get a job as a truck driver with FedEx Freight. He seems to think that he'll get the job since he completed the Return To Duty Process. I'm telling him that he probably won't because FedEx is such a big company. What's FedEx policy on this? Or is it on a case by case basis?
