Can I file a quit claim deed after chapter 7 discharge?

I live in N.Y. My home mortgage was discharged in ch.7 bankruptcy 2 yrs ago.The bank haven't even started foreclosure proceedings yet. Bank wont do a deed of lieu because I owe more than the home is worth. Can I do a quit claim deed?. Can the bank keep dragging this out forever or is there some sort of statue of limitations ? I really need my name off this deed!
