does my storage owner have to evict me?

I was in a bad situation and had to sleep in my storage unit. I was caught and the police were called. The owner could have choose to press charges but decided not to. He says that I will be evicted. I have already payed this month in advance and was wondering if I could talk him into letting me keep the unit until the end of the month until I find Aaron new storage unit. Any suggestion as to what I should say? He was well within his right to press charges but decided not to. I know I caused this but I would hope he could give me some more time. Thanks in advance.

Does he HAVE to evict you.. Technically, no. But as Gus stated, sleeping there is in violation of insurance policies, building codes and probably zoning as well. So yeah, he could stick his neck out for you and let you stay, but then he would risk losing his insurance, paying several fines or just losing his business. 
Very rarely does someone HAVE to do something, but the simple economic (cost vs benefit analysis) is going to strongly persuade him against letting you stay.

You can talk to him as much as you want. He's going to need to evict you to satisfy insurance, health codes, etc., however. He gets in a lot of trouble if he tolerates people doing what you did. If you need more time, you can ask him. Up to him what he says and how bent out of shape he is about it.

Yes he does... It's against insurance policy guidelines to allow you to sleep in a storage container
They can lose their licence over such an incident...

He has to evict you to remove your stuff, although he can lock it as soon as you don't pay.     He does not have to evict you to remove your person, just call the police.
