motherboard ps2 ports not working anymore, can i use a serial pci card with ps2 adapters?
i have a old computer with old operating system that i want to install in which usb would not be detectable, windows 95 osr 2.5, and the ps/2 ports dont work anymore, could i just buy a pci serial port add on card and get ps2 adapters on the ends to connect the ps2 keyboard and mouse i have? the ps2 add on cards i found seem expensive or none are in the united states for cheap, even with the ps2 adapters with the serial pci card, it would be cheaper. so, will this work or am i out of luck? are there other options for fairly cheap? i was thinking of install usb drivers during setup but i dont know how to, i only saved a video as reference on how to install the operating system, but not on how to install drivers during / before setup, the usb ports do work on the motherboard, if anyone knows how to install the usb drivers on a floppy, that would be nice as i know windows 95 version c / osr 2.5 does support usb devices, and i have the usb file update already downloaded as proof, but like i said, i just dont know how to implement it during and after setup is complete
this is the pci serial card below -

frostfire, i actually viewed that same item on amazon, i believe its shipped from outside united states, thats why i didnt buy it and said i couldn't find any for a decent price, but i guess il just message the person and see where its shipped from, if its outside us, i still may order as i dont really have a choice, but it doesnt say windows 95 anywhere on it, i think its because of the usb ports, but im assuming the ps2 ports on the card would work automatically on windows 95.
