What mix is this cute guy?

His name is Fred,he was about 8 months old in this pic. He belongs to a neighbor who "inherited" him. Fred is about18 months old now,he is about 50-60 lbs,quite thick and muscular. I see Shar-Pei and probably pit, cattle dog, some hound and German Shorthaired Pointer,but it is hard to tell. He is so cute,though,he looks like a cartoon dog!

He's so cute and goofy looking, like my pup! 
I would definitely say there is some pit bull and/or boxer in there. I would not say great dane or mastiff or anything like that, he is far too light. I'm not too sure about hound in him, since most hounds are tall and lanky, not short and muscular but perhaps. Maybe australian cattle dog like you said, the markings on his face are quite similar. Perhaps catahoula. I wouldn't say shar pei or german shorthaired pointer either but it could be, with mixes it is too hard to tell. Brazilian mastiff perhaps, but unlikely since they are very rare.
Either way I dont think it matters, he's adorable!

He looks like a catahoula, pitbull, shephard mix maybe? How big is he? May have some great dane if he's a larger dog.
