Makeup for an 11 year old?

My younger cousin is 11, and she wears eyeliner, foundation, powder, the lot. After telling her that it may be too much, she (not so subtly) refused and continued to flaunt all her makeup. In all honesty, she looks like a clown.

After that background information, what would you say that she should wear, makeup wise, to look natural and beautiful?

She says that her skin has some redness and blemishes, and she also has dark circles. Any suggestions? I was thinking that concealer, powder, chapstick, and a bit of chap stick would be great. Concealer to hide her blemishes, dark circles, etc., Powder to look matte and make the makeup stay on all day, and chap stick to make her lips look hydrated. So, what are your opinions?

Woah.. That seems like a lot and I totally agree with you when you say that that seems like too much. And this may not be helpful but when I was 11 everyone else wore no make up at all and there was just like 2 girls in the whole grade that only wore mascara.

She's 11, she shouldn't worry too much about her blemishes. And most people have under eye circles. Idk but if it is necessary to cover the blemishes then I would just stick to concealer and mascara and some chapstick. (like you said.) except I feel like the powder isn't really necessary because she shouldn't look caked up or anything either. I mean if she has really really oily skin then probs some powder is fine. But idkk that's just my opinion.
Sorry if this didn't help but anyways, good luck! :)

I started wearing makeup when I was 11 and then I stopped for a while. I wore mascara and either lip balm or chapstick, I also used to wear blush and eyeshadow the same color as my skin tone to cover the veins on my eyelids (I have thin skin around my eyes=dark circles and veins lol it sounds gross it's really not that bad). Then I stopped for a while. Then when I was 12 I started wearing Cover Girl concealer (for blemishes--which I had a lot of--and dark circles), a light BB cream by Maybelline, and Cover Girl powder to keep it from slipping off my oily skin--all this looks very natural. No eye makeup or anything, occasional a light blush, but nothing crazy. I think either is acceptable. Hope this helped you!

Make sure she knows that foundation is terrible for her skin, by the way. It could be motivation to make her stop.

She's too young to wear too much makeup! I think concealer is ok (I got blemishes at 11), a very light blush, and light eyeshadows are ok. Skip the foundation, eyeliner etc! Maybe try to get her to go for more natural brands ie. Meow Cosmetics. It's healthier for the skin and she can have fun trying lots of samples but at least it looks more natural!

I wore makeup when I was 11. those are the strange years when everyone becomes their own self and is scared to show it. They start to get pimples, black heads, darkspots you name it! She could wear foundation and concealer but she shouldn't be wearing any eye makeup. One time i was in seventh grade and my eyes were itchy so i rubbed them really hard. It looked like I had a black eye... So maybe you can show her how to do her makeup the "right way" without all of those crazy colors

She should not be wearing any of that. Wear makeup if you need it not because it is fun. When you are young your skin is perfect with no flaws. As we hit puberty our skin does go through the normal changes, but we get passed it. There is no reason for her to be wearing that amount of makeup at such a young age. She is not making her skin any better.
