Hi , grading in my country is different with usa and uk.


A highschool student grades contains two seprate parts.

Part one: contains all grades a students get from quizzes , written exams , mid term exams , homework , etc

Part two: just contains final exams at the end of a semester.


Then at the end of a school year or at the end of a semester teacher adds these two together and either of them is worth 50 %

To name these two grades what can I say ?
I mean what can I call them ?
Should I call them in the following way ?

Course grade = Class grade + final exam grade

Course grade = 90 + 80 = 170 / 2 = 85
Course grade = 85
?

That looks pretty good! But "course grade" and "class grade" sound exactly the same, to me, except that you made it clear. Perhaps you could call them something like "pre-final grades", "final exam grades", and "course grade" - it might be a little more clear that way. (Sounds like you're doing fairly well!)
