Why is it Frankie Valli "&" the Four Seasons if Valli was 1 of the seasons?
Some of their music was released as being by "The Four Seasons." Some of it was solo stuff released as by "Frankie Valli."
It's a 4 person band, meaning Valli is one of the four seasons. So why then was some of their music released as by "Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons?"
If Valli was a season, shouldn't it have been "Frankie Valli & the 3 seasons?"
Doesn't "Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons" imply a 5 person band?
BONUS QUESTION: Did each band member have an assigned season? If so, what season was Frankie?
Why wouldn't they just get an extra backup singer to make a 5 person band ala Frankie Valli (1) and the Four Seasons (4) 4+1 = 5?
It's not really Frankie "AND" the 4 seasons, it was more like "Frankie Vallie IS one of the 4 seasons with the 3 other seasons"
