My friend, who's still in high school, has a pair of shorts this length. If she wears them to school, will she get dirty looks or something? I personally don't think that they're TOO SHORT, but I'm not sure..

Not that short at all. I wouldn't worry about it. They are sexy shorts, I'd like to get some myself

It depends on the school and its dress code. This might be allowed at a public high school in a somewhat more liberal community like Berkeley California but not at private Marymount HS in Bel Air California, Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts or most public or private high schools in the Bible Belt. Regardless of the liberalness of the school's dress code, it also depends on the parent's dress code.
