I posted another question, but I've since updated some of the parts. I also included the prices I found online. I think Im getting pretty fair prices, but if Im ridiculously over paying someone please stop me.
CPU: AMD 8 Core FX9370 $200
Motherboard: ASUS M5A78L-M Motherboard $60
Case: (I haven't really decided on the case, but thats like the only variable that can change without messing up the computer) Rosewill BLACKHAWK ATX Mid Tower Computer Case $90
Processor Cooler: Thermalright Macho A $42
GPU: MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 $270
Hard Drive: TOSHIBA DT01ACA200 2TB 3.5" Internal Hard Drive $76
Disc Drive: LG Black 12X BD-ROM DVD-ROM SATA Internanal Blu-ray Drive $50
Power Supply: Diablotek DA Series 600w ATX $30
Audio Card: (I know its high end, but I really care about audio quality) ASUS Xonar Essence STX $160
RAM: 16 GB RAM $150
TOTAL: $1172
Also, does anyone know what this computer would be capable of? Would it for example, be able to play Skyrim on the highest settings? Im not very computer experienced, so please keep answers as dumbed-down as possible. Thanks in advance!

Oh my god. The motherboard I have the same one. Right now its not working for me. There might be a high chance that the motherboard will not read your CPU even though they put the motherboard support FX CPUs. The motherboard can't read my FX-6300. I would highly recommend getting a different motherboard that was made within the last year. The motherboard is not up to date I need it to be Version 1401 which it is not and I know that the FX 9370 needs a higher updated version so the motherboard will most likely not have it in the BIOS.
Some of the reviews stated that it shows no display, etc.
Other than that your build is pretty good.
I also recommend getting 8 GB instead of 16 and using the extra money to get yourself an GTX 770. This will help you with higher performance in intensive graphic games. But is your choice with a FX 9370 I am guessing you're going to do video editing. But you should be fine.
GTX 760. Skyrim w/mods max settings. 60FPS+ Crysis 3 max settings 45~+ FPS all CoD series max 60+ FPS League of Legends and Dota 2 Max settings 60+ FPS All counter strike series max settings 60+ FPS. Minecraft, Terreria, Garry's Mod, and all Tropico series max settings 60+ FPS. BF4 max settings 45~+ FPS FC,FC2,FC3 max settings 50+ FPS all ARMA series max settings 55~+ FPS.
With a high end CPU in AMD. I highly suggest finding a motherboard around $75+ and make sure the BIOS is up to date to BIOS Version 1708.
The TDP of that CPU is far more than that MoBo is capable of handling. I would not put a 9370 on anything less than a 990FXA-UD3. And this is sort of a wonky setup, weird CPU/GPU combinations.
You always want to spend atleast twice on the GPU as you do the CPU, if you do not, then you can downgrade CPU. If you want to stick with AMD, I would get an FX8320 and if you wish to stick with Nvidia, then I would pair that FX8320 with atleast a GTX770. This will give your PC so much more gaming performance, and will keep it the same price.
You wont notice an audio difference with that card, I would only get it if you really need the analog outputs. Like for a surround sound system.
The ram, you will never exceed 8GB if all you do is gaming, and video editing and such.
The CPU cooler, I would get a Corsair H50 if you are already spending that much on an air cooler.
Take my word for it, don't get that CPU/GPU combination, my recommendation is far better.
If you are going to spend 1000$ on a computer I would go with an Intel i7 4670k I think it is and make sure your graphics card is at least 2gb ddr5 and your motherboard doesn't really matter I just like getting expensive ones cause of the benefits of audio and stuff but if your getting an audio card I guess it doesn't matter however I would personally just get maybe a MSI z97 gaming 7 motherboard withought the soundcard
Looks all compatible, are you building yourself? Make sure the ram is 2 8gb sticks, the mobo only has 2 ram slots. And if it's just for gaming, why the 8 core 4.4ghz cpu? If you want AMD, they make cheaper cpu's that are better fitted for gaming, or even the i5 4670k. It can run skyrim on ultimate at ~80-90 fps with FXAA turned down. With fxaa on, it'd probably get 60fps. EDIT: I agree with Kevin, the fx8320 is $150 right now, is compatible with your build, and with the money you save, put that towards a gtx 770.
