i have mazda car 3, model 2008 havubg little problem?

I have Mazda car 3 automatic, model 2008.. Since one week car is giving problem.. While driving the car, the speed is automatically comes down. Then accelerator becomes hard to press. The speed does not go up. It remains only 40-40 even though we press accelerator.

What the problem can be?

it sounds like the car is going into limp mode, it means there is something wrong and the engine will run at limited setting until the problem is resolved
