When in reality if it wasn't for America this world would be a much more miserable and dangerous place to live.

I'm guessing it's easier to take freedoms away from a bad guy than a good guy.
Basically, the millennials would have an easier time accepting the loss of their freedoms if they are taught at an young age that the US is the bad guy.
Let's withdraw our military protection from all other countries and see how it goes ....socialism would suddenly become very expensive when they have to foot the bill for their own military as well.
