HELP WITH COPYRIGHT OFFICE INFORMATION, PLEASE?

MY FATHER WAS A SONGWRITER WHO OBTAINED COPYRIGHTS ON AN ASSORTMENT OF SONGS NEARLY A HUNDRED YEARS AGO. I'VE NEVER HEARD ANY OF THEM, AND NO LONGER HAVE COPIES. I'D LIKE TO TRACK ONE DOWN AND HAVE SOMEONE PERFORM IT. I CHECKED THE COPYRIGHT OFFICE SITE, AND IT SEEMS THAT OLDER RECORDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE ON LINE. I COULDN'T FIND ANY REFERENCE TO HAVING A SEARCH MADE OR ORDERING A COPY.... ANY ASSISTANCE IN LEARNING WHAT TO DO NEXT WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS.

My grandfather was a musician and member of ASCAP. Have you tried their database?
