How many astronauts have graduated from the University of Phoenix?

Their latest ad makes it seem like you can get a degree at one of their many little buildings around the country (or on-line) but I always thought you needed a degree in Aerospace, Astronomy, Math, Computer Science, Engineering or a biologic science to become an astronaut, not a degree in business or some sort of soft Information Systems degree. Is this just a high priced degree mill trying to fool vulnerable people or am I wrong and it's really a ticket to space?

Zero. The school that has graduated the most astronauts is Purdue. Then I believe the next is the US Air Force Academy.

And yes you are right about UoP being a high priced diploma mill.

University of Phoenix is a fake school and it is a degree mill trying to lure vulnerable students. Many of the previous astronauts from the U.S. that did graduate from college are from the regionally recognized, REAL 4 year universities, or from like the United States Air Force Academy, United States Naval Academy. Most of them may even have a masters degree too. Most of the astronauts that have been on a mission do have degrees in those various fields of study.

Forget University of Phoenix. Its the opposite direction of your "ticket into space" because these types of for-profit garbage put academics in the backseat of making money.
