what do chimpanzees do when in contact with gorillas, do they fight/kill each other like the leopard?

i have not heard much in chimp and gorilla contact; i do know most gorillas if not all are herbivores; but can be more than 200 lbs; while chimps can kill monkeys overwhelm leopards and eat both plants, bugs and meat, and are known for killing rival chimp troops, and they both live in the same regions as africa; ive heard chimps can kill and eat bonobos ; but what about gorillas and would the gorillas kill any chimp or not.

Gorillas and chimpanzees share some of their natural ranges, but are quite different in personality and behaviour. Gorillas are territorial, but not aggressive. Chimpanzees will actively hunt other primates, but Gorillas have not been observed to do so - although some studies have shown traces of primate DNA in gorilla faeces, it has not been confirmed if this is from scavenging/eating other primates, by primate contact with the faeces, or by eating ants that have scavenged carcasses. Gorillas are apparently tolerant of chimps when a chimpanzee group passes through their territory and there is not generally conflict between the two groups.
