I've been at this summer camp thing with this guy for a few weeks now and we've really see to hit it off. He's really cute, but shy, so I've initiated all the conversations. Today, he said that he definitely wanted to go out with me, but that he thought it might be weird because I reminded him so much of his ex-girlfriend. He said he was absolutely in love with her, but she broke up with him on the last day of school. What should I do here? He's really nice and cute and he obviously likes me. Should I say it wasn't weird or should I not go out with him?

If he was deeply in love with his ex girlfriend and you remind him of her then maybe thats a good thing, at least hes comparing you with good past memories! if you remind him of his ex then i would see that as a positive thing,Well if you like him theres no harm wtih going out with him!
