Really wanna start a Youtube makeup channel but am lacking in confidence?(Mainly cuz of how Im known at school)?

Hey Going to 8th grade and at school I'm kind of a social freak. Ppl say Im a stalker, Im wierd, Im annoying- I do come across like that when I'm trying to, I guess, force a friendship to proove that those rumors arent true. Wierd thing is, I'm friends with about half of the 23 or so popular girls at my school (not exactly friends in which we hang out).. and they dont think Im wierd/stalker at all.
Basically, I guess my question is- I really do want to start a Youtube channel because I like makeup and fashion- it's just that me thinking about ppl's reactions when they find out about my channel is really nerve racking. Help? Oh, and, how to be confident?

I'm in eighth grade as well. Don't care what other people think of you! If you want to do something you enjoy go for it! People will admire your confidence and how successful you become! Haters gonna hate, but that doesn't make you any less awesome :)

Hey, there's a world out side of school you know, who gives a damn what anyone else thinks, let them think what they want, if they say them things about you then you don't need to associate with them people as they are just up there own backside, if you want to start a YouTube channel you should do it, and as for being confident just be yourself don't change who you are for anyone as I said previously if people don't like you for you then they have no need to be in your life as most people like that turn out to be scum later in life.

Look at the very popular youtube gurus, such as jlovesmac or latoyaforever. According to jlovesmac, nobody liked her in school. But a lot of people like her on youtube. And latoyaforever apparently switched schools a lot so she didn't really have any close friends. And now she has a huge fan base as well.
People on youtube don't know who you are. As long as you got good makeup and fashion tips, then shoo we're watching! Lol, just do what you want to do :)
