Jungle Vallesneria trobles?

About 3 weeks ago, I bought about 36 pieces of jungle val. My goal was to create a curtain on the back and a thick planted area in the corners. Since I got it, it has just melted away and isn't coming back! The seller said give it about 2 weeks to fully restore, and its been 3. I have to trimmed the leaves or anything. Most of the leaves have gone down to stubs, but the ones that haven't are just like... floating dead still attached to the plant. The ones in the back now cant be seen because of the driftwood, but they are there, just really small. Every Friday and Tuesday I add Flourish Potassium, and I occasionally add some Flourish Comprehensive supplement because I have red crypts (iron is needed). All my other plants, but my camboba which hasn't been doing well from the start, are growing better than ever. I have flourite as my gravel, and I have 2 T8 17 watt bulbs, one is a 10,000k daylight, and the other is a floramax plant growth bulb. All this and they aren't growing??

P.S My tank is 30 gallons.

1. you have a new tank, takes time to establish
2. you do not have enough light intensity, you need to double the lights at least
3. you will not need so much ferts till you get more light, the tank is about to go foul with algae.
4. buy "root tabs" after the lights. That will work better for some of the plants.
5. the Vals may come back if you correct the lighting and use the root tabs, but I doubt it.

lots of plant growth won't happen without approximately 3-4 watts per gallon; most plants at 1-2 watts will just grow spindly and rot. Not all, but most.

give the tank some time, buy more plants that seem to be doing well, and avoid plants that don't have lush new growth within two months..
