Can you use Ubuntu for Verizon broadband via an emulator like WINE?
Verizon doesn't provide consumer-level broadband software that will run on Linux platforms. I'm wondering if someone has found a way around it. Thanks.

What he means is that you can configure your router without the software...
Just log on using the IP Address of the Router called the Gateway...

No software is required to begin with. The software that comes from your ISP is always optional.
