can i say 'Do it IN this way' or the 'in' is always not acceptable?

and another question of the same kind.

should i use 'which' or 'in which' in this sentence:
Eating excessively is a way of living, which/in which many fatties have experienced.

In the first example, both are grammatically correct but omitting 'in' is the preferred way of speaking.

In the second case, neither is correct. 'That' is the correct word for that sentence, and no comma should be used.

I would word it this way: Eating excessively is the way of living which many fatties prefer to stick to.

It sounds a bit better.

Don't use "in" in either of those cases.

Better to say "Do it in this manner...".
