Who will be still here when I get back? And what are we all having for tea today? Boring old salad here, to finish of the veggies.

New Zealand is lovely and well worth visiting. They are not too far behind the times and do have the internet. Every motel/hotel has a wireless connection as a standard free service to guests so take your laptop/tablet with you and you don't have to lose touch with us all back here.
Unfortunately, the kakapo only exists on one island off the coast and is so fiercely protected you have no chance of getting permission to go there. It is a great story of desperate conservation and one day the bird might be reintroduced to the wild but in the meantime they are making sure that every last one still alive has the best chance of continuing the species.
Haha steady on OzNana! You don't want a red wine hangover on the plane.
I'm sure the same identities will be here when you get back, and some will even accuse you of being someone else on here while you were away (that you can be fairly sure of).
Enjoy your salad.
I haven't been shopping, so I am raiding the freezer for possibilities with frozen broad beans, frozen spinach and lemon. Goes with arborio rice. I'm sorted.
Have a good trip. Avoid the hokey pokey ice cream. It's a tooth cracker.
I wish I was coming with you....enjoy your trip. wow that youtube bird doing his thing is hysterical NZ is absolutely beautiful but be careful it shakes and rocks.. true you can feel the fault lines
