How will the capture of some dozens of UN "peacekeepers" by Islamist affect the border to Israel?
43 Peacekeepers from Fiji reported to have been captured by black flag Islamists on Golan. Without them a direct confrontation between the Caliphate / Al Kaida fighters and Israel on Golan becomes likely.

Israel has repeatedly says that what happens in Syria is not her fight. Unless someone tries to take the Golan heights, they are unlikely to do anything other than offer insistence to those who are trying to secure their release.
Obviously Israel is beefing up the already-tight security there.
Israel watches that border like hawks (well, all borders, but special mention does go to that one) and as such any activity will result in special precautions being taken care of.
I wish the best for these soldiers form Fiji. I hope they can be returned home soon, or at least to safety...in the Israel controlled areas because, let's be honest, that's where their safety is guaranteed.
The Islamic terrorists (state sanctioned or not) have a big plan to change things under the direction of their fearless leader , they have not all gotten behind ONE person but as soon as they do we (the free world) should kill him. Just the fact that the current leading group to "claim " power calls themselves " Islamic state" brings the whole cult into it's proper perspective,,,, And things like chopping off the heads of journalists , kidnapping and murdering kids, and now peace keepers,,, these things will bring them a big response
