Most of the famous Xbox titles will run on an Xbox 360. If your game isn't working, your only option is to crack out of the original Xbox and play it on there. Here's a list: http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-on-other-devices/original-console/play-original-games

If your game is on there, you need an official Xbox 360 Hard Drive. Most consoles come with one I think, but if yours didn't, you need to buy it.

my best guess is that you are trying to play an original xbox title that is not compatible with the 360 so you cant play it. What game r u trying to play?
