HELP!! my facebook recently got hacked i changed the password but that didnt do anything?

i went to the help center and i said i got hacked so they had me changed my password but i went back on and it was still sending spam messages even tho i changed the password. idk what to do

You have probably granted an application permission to post on your behalf. Revoke application permissions, and then see if it's still happening. Be careful of anything that wants you to "log in to verify your age" or anything suspicious like that.
