It sounds like she's speculating on how bad things might get. Yes, it is a bit "alarmist" but that doesn't mean it's outside the realm of possibilities. Oreskes has done valuable work, showing the connection and parallels between the denial industry and the tobacco industry.

The Alarmists are in panic mode, they are afraid their beloved man-made Global Warming gravy train is about to pull into the station. So they are become more and more shrill everyday. But Naomi Oreskes does sound a bit more unhinged than most.

She is also responsible for writing one of the debunked papers trying to prop-up the 97% claim the Warmists are always touting.

But you ask 'will they ever stop' --- why would they ever stop when we taxpayers are paying them so well to continue? The man-made Global Warming SCAM will NEVER die for as long as taxpayers continue to fund it.
