Why do I keep getting sent to my own profile page ?

I get the daily "Yahoo Answers: There are new questions which match your saved searches!" email and have been using it since it first started without problem. Within the last week, when I click on a question that interests me, instead of being taken to the question, I am ALWAYS taken to my own profile page of all my previous answers. I can NOT get to the question I clicked on EVER anymore. I don't know why and am hoping someone will have an answer.

I'm having the same issue when I receive a message from someone and Yahoo has made some changes to the URL's and made a mistake in them

So say for instance this question is one of those in your email.  The URL is /question/index?qid=20140906061148AAaxYWa

If you look at the URL of your saved searches (where it's sending you) then it shows /?qid=20140906061148AAaxYWa   Because the URL is not correct it's defaulting to your own profile

As a workaround (for the time being until Y! solve it) then simpy take the part of the URL with the question reference after the "=" and paste that over an existing question (so in this instance the 20140906061148AAaxYWa  part) OR as "question/index" between the / and ? on the one that sends you to your profile

It's cumbersome but at least it works
