What does it mean when you dream about a car accident?

For the past week I've constantly had really vivid dreams about a car accident but last nights was the worst yet, I dreamt that I was driving a car alone (I don't know how to drive yet), the breaks didnt seem to work so the car collided with a lorry and turned completely upside down. I remember at the end seeing the extent of the damage and felt really panicked.

I know it was just a nightmare but its been playing on my mind a lot, surely this dream is trying to tell me something? How do I stop this dream from happening again?

Are you starting to learn how to drive or are about to start? You can become a little anxious when something new and stressful comes into the works. If you are starting or are going to start driving, I'd say it's just a reaction to the stress of the situation. If you are learning, just remember to breathe. It isn't as scary as you think it is.

If you aren't learning how to drive however, your dream may indicate feeling out of control, either about a situation, person, personal issue, or anything like that. For that, I'd say to get it off of your chest, and talk to someone about any problems you may be having.
